It's funny because I had all of two striped items in my closet up until June.  Then I went to NYC and Altuzurra for J. High Street Highlight: Old Navy Women's braided wedges

I'm still on the search for chic summer sandals - the kind that can easily glide from day to night and bbq to lounge.  These braided wedges are pretty adorable.  I wish I could try them on to determine if they're comfortable.  At least they're chic and cheap!  Ahh the search for summer wedges is a long, but fun one! Has anyone tried these shoes?

{High Street Highlight} Cat eye sunglasses by Old Navy

I traveled from a tropical country only to find NYC and upstate NY to be even hotter (hence margaritas last night).  Hot, bright days definitely deserve a pair of cool sunglasses.  I've been stalking a pair of cat eye sunnies for a while.  I don't really shop at Old Navy, but if  these are still at the Old Navy store by my parents, I'm all for this retro chic pair!

Early FFF - For Japan with Love and Shopping to give via Gap Give & Get, Alexis Bittar, and Corter

I'm pushing up this early Fun, Free, Friday so that it ends up posting on Thursday (at least in some places) and word of several charitable outlets and retailers can be spread.

I wanted to take a moment to remember our friends in Japan.  A few bloggers have banned together for a blogging day of silence on Friday and I will take part as well.

If you can, please give to those that have lost so much so suddenly.   Red Cross and Shelterbox are great ways to start.
