High Street Highlight: Tilly's Straw fedora (and a few pictures of my trip to India at Aspiring Kennedy)

Simple summer chic were the thoughts that first came to mind when I saw this straw fedora by Tilly's.  It's both casual enough for a last-minute picnic, but can pull together an outfit for brunch with the ladies.  It also happens to be under $15 which makes it all the more tempting!

{High Street Highlight} Nine West Nesby Sandals

Blogger buddy Savvy Mode introduced me to these bejeweled, jelly sandals.
There is something utterly fascinating about the glittering bug and the quirky chic rubber sandals.  They also seem like they could be comfortable.  I decided to at least order them (but in the reddish color) and see how they look in person while Nine West still has free shipping.  Cute, fun sandals for summer?  Sounds good to me!

LOTC: Shoelaborations: Sophie Theallet for Nine West

Sophie Theallet for Nine West is the first "Shoelaboration" (so Luxing it on the Cheap-LOTC!) from Nine West featuring CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner, Sophie Theallet.  It tells the story of "Sophie from Paris takes a trip to NYC."  Of course a mention of two of my favorite cities instantly piques my interest - NYC edginess with Paris romance, ooh lala!  I love the unapologetically girly charms and summer styling for the handbags.  The shoes are similarly bright and warm though I'm not sure I love the patterns.

Fun Finds: Boots and bows with the Nine West Amaya

I am the quintessential girly girl and Nine West has apparently recognized this with one of the cutest boots I've seen in some time - boots with lovely bows at the back.

The Amaya should be mine (and a great deal at $99).  Sigh if I didn't live in a tropical country at the moment making boots a little silly.  Hmm though I am visiting NYC again soon...
