Photo Love: Paris Love and Cymbeline Sample Sale in NYC

There's something about the city of lights that is hauntingly beautiful, romantic, and ethereal.  I loved walking those cobble stoned streets with a baguette in hand and visiting my favorite museums (the Musee d'Orsay being a favorite along with Musee Rodin for the peaceful garden).  Though my French was limited, I still got to eat and loved the energy of the city (though the customer service was comically French).
I was a bit bummed that I didn't get to visit Paris when I was living in London but I'm sure I'll be back some day.  The macaron bar at Laduree calls me.  ♥
My husband also wants to go back to the spot where he proposed (it was on the Pont d'Artes) and finally find the Tibetan restaurant I loved.

I saw this photo and remembered why Paris is such a popular place for lovers.

I love the color of the vivid tights (fashion in every moment), movement, and energy of the couple in a timeless spot.

The lady who helped me, Ivy, was very sweet and very knowledgeable, and knows what she's doing. She stayed behind SOOOO long after hours to help me pick a dress. Amazing customer service! Towards the end, I couldn't decide between two dresses which one I liked better, and she pushed me to buy the less expensive one saying it looked prettier on me! I didn't have a friend to go look with me.  However,it turned out great, and I ended up BUYING MY DRESS HERE!!! =D

Of course the REAL reason to go to Cymbeline? Their wedding dresses are GORGEOUS! They have some of the prettiest dresses I've seen and I've been to many dress stores! The reason why I would say cymbeline dresses are special is because I've noticed their dresses are lighter weight than all the other dresses I've tried on, and also, the dresses are really unique.

If I got married in France...and shopped at NYC sample sales - Cymbeline NYC Sample sale - Sept. 25 - Oct. 15

I'd wear Cymbeline for sure. Though of course you know I still would have worn my Monique Lhuillier Parisian as well. Sigh, I loved that dress. The alencon lace, jewel neck collar...le sigh.

Maybe it's because of Cymbeline's photography in front of classic Parisian cafes; imagine a photo session traipsing around the Tour d'Eiffel or outside the glass pyramids of the Louvre. Cymbeline really caught my eye though because of the use romantic French lace (I'm thinking Chantilly or alencon), beautiful lines, and timeless feel. This would be my dress:Though the ruffles and train on this one would be a close contender as well. How couture, feminine and edgy!
