FFF: Free Audible Download and wedding celebrations

Happy Fun, Free Friday lovely friends!

I'm back home, a bit exhausted, and ready for the weekend!  I look forward to catching up with everyone's blogs too.  I missed you!

Before we officially start the weekend, I wanted to share the news: you can download a free book from audible.com (no coupon codes or purchases required).  I've just downloaded my book and am kinda excited.  Perfect for summer lounging...ahh sitting by the pool and listening to a classic or maybe laughing my way through a funny book on the elliptical (they have everything from F. Scott Fitzgerald to Chelsea Handler!)  Hmm guess which one I downloaded?

Otherwise, I'm off to my first wedding in Singapore (a Singaporean Chinese affair).  The bride is a friend from graduate school and asked me to be part of her "chuang men" party.  Basically I was told that the bride's friends harass the groom and his friends when they visit the bride's house the morning of the wedding so the groom can "earn" his right to see her that morning; they have to play silly games and pay us when they mess up.  It should be fun and hey I might get cab fare for the church out of it too!

I'm looking forward to loveliness (she said she'll be wearing lace and it's been raining a lot here so she might needs boots!)...
